From our ewes, we demand a great deal. They should
be good mothers, heavy milkers, lamb easily and ideally
produce twins. The ewes are usually coated year round
so we can provide premium covered fleeces to our
handspinning customers.

The saying is that a ram is 50% of your flock -
and how true it is! We insist our rams have
great conformation, fantastic fleece and good
temperament. These big boys can top out at
over 300 lbs. so it is not worth the risk and the
hassle to keep rams with an attitude.
